Balsam Fir (Abies Balsamea)

Balsam fir is well known for its aromatic leaves which contain oleoresin and is used for its antiseptic or antibacterial and stimulating traits.  Native to Native to Canada and to the Northeast region of the United States, balsam fir is a well known evergreen.  In this tincture, the balsam fir needles as well as some twigs and bark (abies balsamea) are extracted in a mixture of Everclear and vegetable glycerine (to capture volatile oils).

• Assisting the body in reducing inflammation.
• High in Vitamin C and Zinc.

Dosage

• This tincture is to be taken orally and may be taken plain under the tongue, or mixed into water, juice, or milk.
• Typically it is best to use only one or two drops of the tincture when taking for the first time, only increasing the dosage as needed or directed.

Contraindications…

• Causes uterine stimulation and is an abortifacient and should not be used in pregnancy.
