Self-Heal (Prunella vulgaris) Tincture

Self-Heal is an herb that is part of the mint family and is used historically for wounds, and in modern times for its antioxidant and astringent properties.  Native to Europe and Asia, this herb has been widely naturalized and grows easily in sunny, temperate areas especially along roadsides.  In this tincture, the dried herb self-heal (Prunella vulgaris) is extracted in vodka.
